What a lovely morning! Today we took the children to visit a neighbour’s farm. We saw the cows being fed and learned about what they eat … and no, they don’t just eat grass! They eat grass silage, maize silage and cattle nuts. We also saw some pregnant cows and some newborn calves, and three different tractors – a big hit with the children!
The beauty of being a village preschool in a rural location is that we have nature on our doorstep. Today was a beautiful sunny today so despite the cold the children still got plenty of vitamin D and fresh air by going outdoors, as well as seeing some animals and learning something new.

We feel very lucky to be able to make such impromptu trips as these and we must say a very big thank you to our neighbours for letting us visit.
